Rays and Smoke

The rays of the sun in combination with the smoke

I spotted this rare scene in my back yard while cleaning and sweeping where I then did not hesitate to capture--just like rays from the Divine Mercy.

Destiny

Know Your Destiny. You can change your destiny. You can see the destiny. How? What you are doing right now is your destiny. You do good merits, you reap good harvest. Your destiny? Heaven.

People do good merits have more blessings.
Walls can never be an excuse to bridge the distance
Remove your pride, ask forgiveness
End result?

Bukidnon | The Great Sky Formation in San Fernando

Great sky in San Fernando's rare appearance according to the townfolks here.

“It’s the idea that people living close to nature tend to be noble. It’s seeing all those sunsets that does it. You can’t watch a sunset and then go off and set fire to your neighbor’s tepee. Living close to nature is wonderful for your mental health.” --- Daniel Quinn.

I agree with Daniel Quinn that "Living Close to nature is wonderful for your mental health." Aside from de-stressing yourself from a daylong work, it would also gives you some therapeutic effect if you take your time to visit a place where green environment is present.

Like what it did to me when we went home from a daylong visit in Barangay Kalagangan of San Fernando, Bukidnon, when I saw these amazing and breathtaking formation of sky. A very colorful formation. It is indeed an amazing formation of God's creation.

Two Faces of Lights

Two faces of Lights  |  Represents two (2) sides, the Dark and the Bright Side.
In thinking, which side you are in favor? Which side are you considering first? Depending on a certain situation. Which ever is applicable on a certain situation, this two (2) sides in thinking are really have to be considered.

In a situation where you are to choose between life and death. You are choosing for example in saving a life of your loved ones. Then there a situation where you are to choose the right one in your own opinion in that particular moment but for others, that option of yours is not an acceptable one. But because of the norms that was set as standard in our society, the option you choose is not acceptable but in your opinion, that was the only option, thinking that you are saving a life, then that action is a good one. Then, that is not against your conscience and guilt, because that action is not a pre-meditated one.

Principle : If you are not obliged to do but you are allowed, then do it. But always consider  to face the consequences of your action later on.

My Catholic Faith | Mary and the Child Jesus---Commemorating a dear loving Father of my Life

A carved wood depicting Mary and the Child Jesus mounted on a wall of a resident in Maramag, Bukidnon.

My late father taught us the first practice of My Catholic Faith------the sign of the Cross. Then he let us scan a book whose title is "My Catholic Faith". In that book, we learned  all the basics of being a Roman Catholic, that is ----Faith should be in our hearts and  it is incomplete when not put into practice.

The foundation of our faith depends in the hands of our parents and that foundation was taught to us during the early age of our life from 1 year old to 8 years old. All the basics of what we are today, being as good person, we owed that to our parents. Let us be grateful enough that we have parents who taught us the very basic of our FAITH.

This post is in commemoration of my late beloved father, Daddy Pabs, since his birthday  will be on January 15, 1941. Surely missed him but I am pretty assured that he is in the Hands of our Father in Heaven now.

He was born at the onset of World War II and died in the Month of Mary our Mother, May 22, 2008 at the age of 67. Coincidentally, the year I was born is 1967.

This post is also dedicated to all Legion of Mary in the Philippines and Servant of the Altar (Service Society)---as former member during high school and college days.

Smile

Whatever you do, where ever you are, we must welcome the year 2011 with a warmth   smile. If we are planning with our future, one must consider the past first before doing so.

Forget all the bitterness, face the 2011 with a new beginning. Be thankful of all the trials, bitterness, odds in the past years, because without those things in our life, we will not learned from that and become another person right now, which is a new you, who is so optimistic and mature enough to think things that made you stronger. Be positive always.

Bukidnon Cooperative Bank | The latest group who lighted their Christmas Tree at the Capitol Ground

Though they are the latest, it doesn't mean that they do not have the spirit of Christmas. That spirit somehow drove them to install the light in their assigned Christmas Tree, even though that they were late. Here are some of the things that I've observed;

1. They have the Spirit of Willingness to install the lights in their assigned Christmas Tree even though that they were late with the date set last December 1, 2010.
2. They did not just installed it, they even installed it with Full of Meaning on what Christmas  should be because it showed with the design of their Christmas tree.
3. They crafted the materials installed with Full of Passion, Effort and Love.

Merry Christmas to All Bukidnon Bloggers Group!!! To all Bloggers in the Philippines and in the whole world!!! Job Well Done. Sharing of information through Blogging is really a tough job. That's the spirit of Christmas. Throughout the years, you did that sharing of information, even though Christmas celebrated in December but what you have done, all the days in the year, is really Christmas. So, keep blogging. Keep that passion of sharing. Congratulation also to Bukidnon Cooperative Bank for a job well done.

Gift Wrapper

It is not the gift that matters, much more on the wrappers that you use in wrapping the gifts during this yuletide season, but it is the HEART of Giving and not the ART of Giving - bonzenti

Practicality wise :

If you want to squeeze up your budget and you are tight right now or you  do not have more or extra money to buy wrappers in this gift giving season, here is an alternative tip for you. Gift wrapper out of the 2010 Calendars. For me, since I have spare of Land Bank Calendars, I used this as wrappers in wrapping the gifts as shown in the photo. I just would like to share it to you for practical reason. Newspaper is also a better idea. Today, we always deal with practicality in life. Its up to your decision whether you like to choose this option or not, but for me it looks nice, elegant and practically presentable. It is indeed the idea of my wife.

Merry Christmas, to All!

Waiting Shed

A man builds a house in England with the expectation of living in it and leaving it to his children; we shed our houses in America as easily as a snail does his shell. - Harriet Beecher Stowe

Giving a shed for everyone who will benefit out of it,  sharing your talent with countless effort for a legacy, is worth enough to be remembered for the next generation to come, not the cost you spent today but the traces you leave to them- bonzenti panganiban

Car's Tinted Window

Fifty years from now, it will not matter what kind of car you drove, what kind of house you lived in, how much you had in your bank account, or what your clothes looked like, But the world may be a little better because you were important in the life of a child.
- anonymous
A really tight friendship is when you start to really care about the person. If he gets sick, you kind of start worrying about him—or if he gets hit by a car. An everyday friend, you say, I know that kid, he's all right, and you don't really think much of him. But a close friend you worry about more than yourself. Well, maybe not more, but about the same.

The Manger and the Holy Family presented by the Uni-Frutti Group-Phils
Part of Uni-Frutti's Belen that I also like most.

Some of the participating agencies were still in the process of installing their lights on the tree assigned to them. On the next photo blog, I will be featuring the full photos of the Provincial Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting once they are fully installed. See you on next photo blog....

Glass

Pen
“The act of putting pen to paper encourages pause for thought, this in turn makes us think more deeply about life, which helps us regain our equilibrium.”-- Norbet Platt

When you reach at 40 with your wife, seemed that you are so dependent on each other and have always in thoughts that you wanted to grow old with her.

Connections | Inter-connectivity

Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.--Pema Chodron

As civilization grows more complex, it is simultaneously becoming increasingly interrelated. We are converging upon ourselves, and this is forcing us to relate.-----Anodea Judith
