Together with Earl Bolivar of Bukidnon Photo Journal, (please click HERE) we first dropped by to take some shots today at the Capitol Ground. Here are my shots taken before we proceeded to the formal lighting ceremony in the Plaza Rizal.

Then this is what we have witnessed when we arrived at the Plaza Rizal while waiting with the final countdown. People were jam packed surrounding the Plaza. All were excited to witness the formal lighting of Christmas Tree.We both were excited too, taking pictures every spot, moving here and there and looking for a nice spot.
I even spotted this family parking along side the road fronting the PNB building. They too were also excited. Traffic built-up were observed in the area. This event is sponsored by the LGU, with prizes at stake, since this is a Christmas Lighting Contest Event as announced while we were waiting with the final countdown. City Band entertained the audience. A privilege speech by Mayor Inaki Zubiri, and then the final countdown were being started for the lighting of the tree, thus

This event is already a tradition here in Malaybalay City, way back more than 5 years ago, during the administration of Mayor Doc Boy Flores. This is not only to pour the spirit of Christmas during this season but also to boost up the tourism in our place.
